International Migratory Bird Days – Spread Your Wings for Bird Conservation!
Sunday, May 1 at Volo Bog State Natural Area
12 Noon – 4:00 pm
Play games & activities and WIN PRIZES! IMBD this year honors the 100th anniversary of the Migratory Bird Treat – a landmark agreement between the U.S., Canada and Mexico that protects our shared migratory birds. We’ll have notes throughout the event to highlight this monumental agreement between governments – the rest is, as always, pure fun (and maybe a bit educational)! Our Grand Prize each day is a pair of binoculars valued at $200.00 each – thank you to Eagle Optics!
Thank you to our IMBD Sponsors:
• Governments: IDNR, USFWS, MCCD
• Friends: Friends of Moraine Hills State Park, Friends of Volo Bog, Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge
