Environment for the Americas (EFTA) created its internship programs to engage the next generation of diverse youth in conservation. Our internships are designed to encourage youth to explore careers in natural resources, environmental conservation, interpretation, and scientific research. Interns work side-by-side with managers, educators, and biologists and are responsible for wildlife research, public outreach, and/or educational programs.
Who should apply? We seek applicants ages 18 – 30 years (up to 35 years if you are a veteran), especially racially and ethnically diverse candidates interested in gaining hands-on experiences on public lands and with non-governmental organizations.
