This is a Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) position. If already graduated applicants can not have a graduation date later than Dec. 1st, 2018.
Job Description: Work alongside a variety for specialist at the Upper Willamette Field Office in areas such as Silviculture, Botany, Weeds, Wildlife, Hydrology, Soils, and Forestry. Task that the intern will participate in weeds inventory, hydrologic stream surveys, marking trees, and other related tasks.
Start/End Date: This an 11 week internship running from the beginning of June to mid August.
Housing: To be determined.
Living conditions: A lot of the work is in the field so the intern must be willing to work outside in rough terrain, thick brush, and inclement weather.
Vehicle: A vehicle and license are required.
