This is a Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) position. If already graduated applicants can not have a graduation date later than Dec. 1st, 2018.
Job Description: Work with BLM staff to oversee/carry out day to day tasks and observe consumer trends to keep improving visitor experience at the South Fork of the Snake River. Interns will need experience working in any administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible field that provided you with a familiarity of how the BLM manages public land for recreation activities. The intern will have tasks such as reviewing capacity data, create an allocation plan for camp sites, develope a reservation system, and conduct outreach.
Start/End Date: This an 11 week internship running from the beginning of June to mid August.
Housing: To be determined.
Living conditions: Work will take place in Upper Snake Field Office as well as field work at varying sites around the Snake River.
Vehicle: A vehicle and license are required.
